I (name)                                                     at (venue)                                                 hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions in relation to the visit of a Therapy Pony from Hugs of Argyll, to The Venue on (date)

1. Insurance Coverage: a. I confirm that I understand that Hugs of Argyll (“the oragniser”) is insured through Westminster Insurance (Policy attached).

2. Therapy Ponies as Livestock: a. I understand and acknowledge that our Miniature Shetland Ponies are classified as livestock and whilst every effort is undertaken to ensure safety, I accept the risk of injury resulting from unpredictable horse behaviour, environmental conditions, or my own actions.
b. All Therapy Ponies are in receipt of a valid UK equine passport allowing them to travel.

3. Assumption of Risk: a. I understand and accept that having a Therapy Pony on the premises at The Venue is at my own risk. b. I acknowledge that the organiser shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur during the Therapy Pony’s visit including but not limited to bites, kicks, abrasions, injuries from falls, slips and trips and allergic reactions. By signing this disclaimer, I confirm that I have read and understood the terms and conditions stated above, and I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the visit of Huggy to The Venue. I hereby release and discharge Hugs of Argyll from any liability arising out of or related to the presence of a Therapy Pony on the premises.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT YOU ARE GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO RECOVER DAMAGES IN CASE OF INJURY, DEATH, OR DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF YOUR RIDING, HANDLING OR USE OF THE OWNER’S HORSE. READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING IT. YOUR SIGNATURE INDICATES YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF AND AGREEMENT TO ITS TERMS.
